Planning Around Furniture Industry Supply Problems

Planning projects around the home in the past few years has been beyond challenging for folks. Whether it is because of pandemic concerns that closed stores, or waiting for supply chain issues to get ironed out–it’s been frustrating for everyone. Part of our expertise is knowing the right levers to pull to get items moving more swiftly. We have strong industry relationships to help smooth the way and minimize any delay whenever possible.

We are lucky enough to have such relationships with three manufacturers who are currently offering special quick ship programs. Beautiful sofas, armchairs, and ottomans are all of excellent quality, offer plenty of design choices to suit your taste, and can ship in 8-12 weeks.

Outside of the quick ship programs, the longest lead times are for upholstered furniture, which are running much longer. So we choose these items first, along with your fabric. Case goods such as coffee tables, benches, and end tables, are generally available in about two to three months.

Rugs and lighting should be ordered next, and can arrive in two to 10 weeks. The quickest turnaround is probably going to be lighting, which can often arrive in two weeks. There’s always a hitch somewhere, maybe with a manufacturer, or a shipping company, but this approach provides the greatest likelihood that you can wrap up your renovation sooner.
